Just A Minute In...March

I always do the "Just A Minute In" on the last day of each month.
No Random Wednesday today, becuase I don't want to do 2 posts in one day.
Here I go:
Watching...Jonas. It always looked really corny to me, but I was very sick yesterday and I didn't feel like changing the channel, so I just sat there and watched it. It's pretty funny!
Thinking...About our "Reality Store" in school yesterday. The whole point of the game was to show us 8th graders what being an adult is really like, and how expensive everything is and how to manage our money. "Reality Store" was set up in the gym. We go in, and you pick 2 cards. You draw one that says what your occupation is, how much money you make a year, if you are married or single, if you have kids, and if you do, how many kids.
I got: Veterinarian; 40,601 dollars a year, married, 3 children. That was pretty good. My friend Hannah got a better one though; Physicist & Astronomer; 50,000 dollars a year, single, no children. Another point of the game was to not run out of money for that month. First, we went and bought our house. I got a 3 bedroom 2 bath. Next was groceries, and you could get expensive or low-cost kind. I got low-cost just in case I ran out of money. I got a Ford Taurus for a car. (That was the cheapest I could get for 3 kids.) Then I had to get insurance, which was very expensive. I also got low-cost furniture and clothes. I was almost out of money. One of the last things we had to do was go to a table called "Life's Unexpected." You draw a card out, and it gives you a scenario in which you have to pay money, or you win money. So people won the lottery, some people got in a wreck and had to pay money. I got 100 dollars, so I was lucky. You sort of lost the game if you still had to pay for stuff and you ran out of money. You then had to go get a 2nd job. That didn't happen to me though. So, this game sort of showed you what reality is actually like, and it really makes you appreciate your parents.

Feeling...SICK! My stomach hurt alllll yesterday and I threw up. Then I went to bed around 6 pm yesterday and slept all night. I feel a bit better today.

Anticipating...For our band competition in April. I hope we do well. (Then in May we're of to King's Island for a big competition.)
Have a lovely Wednesday, everyone!
xx,
~Abby~

Haha, that's how I felt today! ^

Wow what an interesting experiment at school, I remember when we played with fake money and they called it "reality" however it was far different from the real world. I think that's very cool how they show you a bit of how hard your parents work, it makes you appreciate what you have.

I on the other hand didn't apprecaite them fully until I moved out of the house!

Happy Wednesday!

Abby, are you feeling better now? Sorry about your stomach!
Jonas is a show I would never watch! I like them, but they are terrible actors. And the fact that they can't play themselves makes me sick! haha.

Oh, I put up a picture given to me by Alice for the award. Thanks for asking, sweetie.

LOVE!
