Pictures/Award

Hello everyone! I hope your lives are going great..mine has been a bit stressful, but nothing I can't handle! Preparing for finals, homework, Christmas shopping..this time of year is just so busy!

I have some pictures over the past few weeks that I haven't put on here yet, until now that is. So here we go :)

This was me on Spirit Day. Yes, I did go to school like that. I really wanted up sophomores to win! I can honestly say (and everyone else told me) that I was the most spirited out of the whole school...even more than the cheerleaders! :D

And this was us 12 hours later...after Black Friday shopping. That was my first ever experience..and I can honestly say if I ever do it again, I'm going to take a different approach than his mom and aunt did.

I had a ton of fun at the game! I sat in the cheerblock with the seniors (what can I say, they lock me) and it was packed! The leader of the cheerblock said if we won, we were all going to rush out on the court.

And we did! :D You can't even see me because I'm too far in. It was honestly one of the most fun nights of my life. :)

We won by TWO freaking points..it was quite suspensful!

We then went to Wal-Mart to get a few snacks...me and Kristen got a bit sidetracked though, we were extremely hyper. Maggie has a 12 minute video of us in there running around acting like idiots. The things we said were so funny...I don't even recall saying half of them.

I was SO amazed.

As you can see, someone might've slipped us some sort of energy drug into our drinks earlier that night....

Someone then gave me and orange lollipop, and if you know me, you know I love orange flavored anything. So I had that in my mouth all night.

Kristen played approximately 50 times for it, Maggie spent 10 dollars of her changed on it, so I figured I'd do my part and claim him as mine x) I named him Blue ♥

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! This is my favorite holiday of the whole year. The food, getting to see my family, giving thanks, and of course....THE FOOD x)

I'm going to list a few things I'm thankful for along with some pictures of course.

1.) Family/Friends/Boyfriend

I'm thankful for my family because they are there for me when no one else is. I mean, most of the time I can count on my friends, but when I can't, my family is always there and I really appreciate them for that.

I'm thankful for my friends because without them, school and my weekends would be so boring. They make me laugh, give me confidence, and help me on work whenever I need it, and I love them for that. I'm also thankful for my boyfriend because he loves me for exactly for who I am: my quirky, nerdy, clumsy, talkative, random, silly self. And for that, I can't thank him enough.

2.) My Freedom and Rights

I forget about this one sometimes, but it's definitely something we should all be thankful for. Some countries don't have the privileges, freedoms, and rights that we do. Some don't get to pick anything they want to do in life because it's already chosen for them. I'm thankful to live in the USA where I can be whoever I want to be.

3.) School

I am thankful that I go to a good school where I get the education I need to make it to college, which will help me get a good job someday. I'm thankful my school doesn't demand high tuition or fees for me to go there. Even though school is a drag sometimes, we couldn't make it in this world today without an education. I'm thankful my school is a good one too, and we really don't have that many bullies or druggies.

4.) Music

I honestly couldn't go one day without listening to music. It's what makes my day good; I can't get ready in the morning without listening to music and I can't fall asleep without it. I can't NOT play my clarinet everyday. I can't sit in a car with no music or be on the computer without listening to music at the same time. When I feel like I'm all alone and no one understands, music does. There's a song for every situation someone is in, and it always makes me feel somewhat better. Without music, life would be dull and gray.

5.) Love ♥

I believe that love makes the world go round. There can never be TOO much love. We need more love in this world, honestly. Hate is a terrible thing, we should all replace it with love of some kind. I love how there are so many different kinds of love too, but the thing is, it's still the same thing. No matter HOW you love someone, the important thing is that you do love them. Love conquers all.

I hope all of you have a VERY WONDERFUL Thanksgiving with your families and loved ones. Appreciate everything you have in your life, and be thankful. :)

Random Wednesdays!!!

Hey ya'll! Lol.
How long has it been since I've done a Random Wednesdays...FOREVER!
I decided: "Hey, I'mma finally do one!"
If you're a new-ish reader and don't know what it is...the description is pretty much in the title. I just post random pictures, videos, whaterver.

Last night was the anual basketball game between the Austin Eagles(us) and Scottsburg Warriors(my boyfriend goes there). Their town is right next to ours, and we are HUGEEE rivals. We have two games, the girl's and boy's game. Last night was the girls' game. We lost. :( Not by much though. It was so saddening. We were state champs last year, and we wanted to win so bad! I'm the manager, and when I saw a senior girl on our team crying after the game, I got tears in my eyes. But they played their best and done really good, I am so proud of our Lady Eagles :) Tonight is the boy's game and I play in the band. I'm so pumped!

I worked at an auction this weekend for a charity(all of the money went towards it.) It aired on our community channel and I videoed it. 'Twas pretty hectic.

AHHH! This is from the movie White Chicks. This was ALWAYS me and my brother's favorite part of the whole movie, and when I found a picture about it, I was like YES! EPIC WIN!

Today is my last day of school for the week. I'm off Thursday and Friday, plus the weekend. YES! I plan on chowing down, visiting my family, watching my soap operas and hanging with my boyfriend. ♥

I Hate Mondays -_- (Even Though It's Thursday)

Happy Thursday beautiful people!
I've had a pretty busy week..I'm so ready for the weekend!!!

Geez...you all know a lot about me already! So, I'm gonna change this to 7 things I've been up to/will be doing...if I tag you, just do 7 things about you, please. :)

1) I'm writing a 5 paragraph essay for English class on who my hero is...I picked Demi! I will type out my final draft on here when I am finished for you all to read. :)
2. Basketball season has begun! This year, I am manager for the girl's team. I keep stats...that means, whenever they shoot, I have a piece a paper with a drawing of the court on it, and I have to put down where they shot it from, who shot it, and if they made it-circle it. I must pay attention! ..We were state champions last year, and they put up our banner in the gym and revealed it during the first game. :') (which we won!)

3) I also play in the band at games, but only boys games. Here's the back of my band shirt:

4) I've been really busy with band. We recently had our first concert, and now we're practicing for the Christmas Parade. Every year in December, our town has a Christmas Parade and the band marches in it. We've been practicing in the mornings around the school parking lot..and it's freezing! :P

5) I got my report card yesterday...all A's and 2 A+'s :) An A- in Algebra 2 though...haha what can I say?

6.) Me & my boy have been dating a little over a month...our one month was November 12th. ;) ♥

7.) This weekend I'll be working at na auction from 11-1. It's called the Kid's First Auction, and it's to raise money for..I don't even know. I'll be taking phone calls or doing something w/ a video camera. They didn't really explain it well at school. But, it's for the club I'm in called Sunshine Society(remember I had to dress up crazy to get in it?) And to get my points for the month, I'm gonna do this.

Now, I must tag some "versatile" bloggers....As searched in dictionary.com, versatile means "capable of or adapted for turning easily from one to another of various tasks, fields of endeavor."

Fall Break! ♥

Hello lovely people! Sorry I haven't been blogging...I've had a VERY BUSY week! But I've kept up with your alls' blogs pretty well. :) How has everyone's week been? If you need to vent go ahead!

Yay it is fall break officially! All next week! Yessss! I'm just gonna read my book(which I've been neglecting for 2 weeks) and work on my 8th grade scrapbook.

On Wednesday I had some "big" test called the ACT, it took 4 periods to complete. I thought it was pretty easy. In all honesty, I think since the seniors were taking their SAT's and the Sophomores and Juniors were taking the PSAT's that they had to give us freshies something to do :P

I got a boyfriend Tuesday night. :) We've liked each other all of the school year. He came to our school from our rival school (which is about a mile down the road. Haha.) It's pretty common actually; people from our school going to theirs and vice versa. But he's pretty insane & sweet at the same time. I don't know how to explain him. We always argued/flirted and it got to the point where my teacher interrupted us during an argument and said "You 2 JUST DATE ALREADY!" Haha. But now we are. And guess what? After fall break he's going back to that school! :( But he's not literally moving. (He never did.)

Thursday was senior play..hilarious as always. Me & the bf had fun booing at a certain senior guy I hate. ;)

Today was class volleyball! That means 6 girls and 6 guys from each grade(they CAN'T be on the volleyball team!) play a volleyball game against each other. Of course I didn't play haha. First it was us freshman against the seniors...DUH we lost! But then we played juniors...we were FOR SURE we'd get stomped by them because they had won every year since their freshman year..even beating the other seniors of those years. NO! WE BEAT THEM! And so did the sophomores! Hahaha then the sophomores and seniors played each other..DUH seniors won lol. But I didn't care if we lost or not really just that I got to sit with my best friends and boyfriend. (Haha he wasn't supposed to be sitting w/ me because you were supposed to sit with your grades. He's a sophomore.)

This weekend I'm going over to my friends house...a bunch of us girls are gonna have a par-tay! Or "queso night." Her mom makes delicious queso that we all LOVE!

And the weekend after this I'm going to a zoo! :) I haven't been to one since I was about 8. I can't wait! I sound like such a little kid. :P

SO that's about it...sorry for the suck-ish post! Pictures from the par-tay will be the next post. :)

SSS Initiation

Sorry I've been MIA...I've been really busy. I had my English final for this quarter yesterday...I aced it!
School has been very fun and hectic (with a few boys every once in a while ;) and this week was one of the biggest and memorable of all. It was Sunshine week?
What's that, you ask?
There's a VERY popular group/club at our school called Sunshine Society..pretty much everyone is in it. There's also the guy's version; Sons of Liberty. We basically just raise money for charities all year. We do that by having fun. Yesterday we had a "Mr. Irresistible" in which guys(some REALLY cute ones I might add) dressed up and carried around a jar/bucket. All you had to do was give money to the one wanted to one! I give 3 boys money..I couldn't help it! First, I gave some to my friend. Then MMMM a sexy senior. Then, a foreign exchange student from Taiwan, Kim(I don't know how you spell it, but that's how you say it. With emphasis on the i. It sounds like Keeeem.) He's so cute! Really short and dark, and has the coolest clothes. He's THE BOMB. He goes up to my friend Brooke and says in his funny accent, "You vote?" How could I resist? So I gave him some. And he gave me a bracelet from Taiwan! :) Coming in my first, my friend won! Then, Kim was runner up!! :) And the sexy senior didn't even place...UGH! I don't see how. He must've not asked enough.

Nowwww...anyways...here's the important part. To GET into SSS, there's this thing called Silly Initiation. You come to school dressed like an idiot and do embarrassing things that the upperclassmen make you do. But, earlier in the week you choose a "big sister" that's already in SSS that can say no to these embarrassing dares. And they can only get you in the morning before school and at lunch. A girl from band chose me. She said she was going to make me do one embarrassing thing though..oh...and it was...

I spent the night w/ my friend Cassidy and another girl. We got up early and got ready. We followed the requirements of how we were supposed to look. The paper gave us strict instructions.

My grandma took this of me...I had to carry a basket of candy around to persuade the girls to make me not do anything...and a sign around my neck that says "I Love Seniors." (In 3rd period though in tiny letters below it I put "not." Oooh I'm such a rebel!)

Then it comes time for lunch. Freshmen members are standing on the tables and singing and so many things are going on. Me, Riley and Maggie are sitting by our big sisters...trying to look invisible. Finally, Creeda says, "Come on..to the gym." I go "NOOO!" When people get done eating, most of them go in the gym to play basketball or just chill. EVERYONE is in there. I see another girl w/ her big looking miserable. Creeda says "I've got her." The other girl's big and mine tell us to crawl across the WHOLE gym floor (with flying balls and people running around) and bark as loud as we can. It kind of fit what I was wearing..I had a Pluto house shoe and my nose looked like dog's from the paint. I look at Brenna(the girl) and say "Let's do this." We slowly get down, and we look at each other one last time. We take off. Brenna starts us off. I bark. She barks. I bark. She barks. All the way down the floor. I don't look up once. I don't want to see people staring at me. I finally get to the end where Sarah is sitting and she's laughing her head off. Me and Brenna just lay there. My knees hurt. I then see my good pal Brant who followed me all the way down cracking up. I get up and we start talking. Then these girls come up and are terrified and say to Brant, "We have to sing to you." Brant looks pleased. He loves himself. He pushes me towards them and says "SING TO ME!" I didn't even have to do it but the girls were nervous. We had to sing the Barney song to him. I lead the song. :) Lol.

That was the longest day of my life. But it wasn't over.

That night at 6 all of the new/old members had to report to the auditorium for serious initiation. We got pinned by our big sisters and got initiated. Then we all had to hold a little candle and say the creed and then blow it out. Woo hoo.

Wow. I'm FINALLY in Sunshine. I've been waiting to be in this since, like, 3rd grade! Our school has had this club FOREVER! My grandma was in it. And it was there even before that!

Today is the last day of Sunshine week. Pajama day! YESS! And I'm in band and today we're going in the parking lot and practice marching for the Christmas parade. DOUBLE YESS! :)
